16th of May 2007 Jaikoz v1.9.0 Build 1025 released.
This release concentrates on new and improved MusicBrainz features
New Features
- Added Manual Match from MusicBrainz that presents possible matches with a rating between 1 and 100, and only updates the records that you select.
-
- Added Update Tags from Existing MusicBrainz Id. This retrieves the latest information from MusicBrainz for this Id and updates
the field data. This can ensure that you have the latest information from MusicBrainz
because MusicBrainz may have improved/corrected/increased the information held for this track since you originally matched it. Jaikoz may not have
been able to find a MusicBrainz Match itself, so you can find the correct track using the MusicBrainz Website yourself and then enter the id into
the UniqueId field, then use this task to update all the fields based on this Id.
- Added Find Missing tracks, this generates a list of all the albums in your selected files, and the tracks within each album. It then compares
the list to all the tracks you have loaded in Jaikoz to generate a html or csv report list of all missing tracks.
- Added option to restrict musicbrainz search to only retrieve tracks whose duration is within a certain number of seconds
- Added MusicBrainz Ids and Acoustic Ids Exists/Not Exists filters
- Added options for selecting the text encodings to use when you save your files
Enhancements
- The MusicBrainz matching algorithm has been completely revised. It is now much more accurate, and less likely to give false matches.
