As far as I understand it, operations only are actioned on visible files. I can have a 1000 files loaded but if my filter only shows 30 files, then my operations only are actioned on that 30, then if I view all again, I will see the remaining 970 haven't been touched, correct?

Are there any actions that do not follow this?


Note: I am not having a problem, just making sure.
Problems cannot be solved at the level of awareness that created the problem

That is certainly true of actions in the Action Menu. Whereas in the Edit menu the tasks such as the Capitalizer / Copy and Paste work on the selected fields.
