Errors when reading a file for generating an accustic id are registered, but not shown in the gui or presented to the user for further choices / action.
It will help in determining which files to keep when there are duplicates.
Also to remove files with errors and then use the missing tracks feature for further actions.

Messages are written to the console arent they ?
I think actually displaying in a popup dialog would be too confusing for most users, and could be annorying, but if yo want to give me a real example I'll look into it further.

Yes Paul, many messages are written to the console.
A real example would be a file having errors, such as ending abrubtly, having missing frames or somesuch.
A user might not want to keep files with errors, and so my proposal is showing a column in the list, holding the status of the file, being errorfree or not.

That's not the task for Jaikoz.
This would be nice, if Jaikoz could do this, but Paul should develop tagging.
To find mp3-files with errors, there are programs like "mpTrim Pro" and many others.
Or you can use http://sourceforge.net/projects/mp3val/
