Hello..
I hope to resolve a Jaikoz naming convention issue.
I've selected auto correct for a group of mp3's..
Here is an example of the issue:

Old MP3 name:

Annie Lenox - A Thousand Beautiful Things.mp3

New MP3 name after Jaikoz auto correct:

Annie LennoxA Thousand Beautiful ThingsBare2003Pop01Annie Lenox - A Thousand Beautiful Things134319203-07.mp3

There are hundreds of MP3s that have been modified.

Thank you in advance

Have you modified your SubFolder or Filename rename mask ?

It would be helpful if you could email support@jthink.net your support files (Advanced:Create Support Files)

Hi, thankyou for the support files.

First of all I took your preferences from your support files and applied them to my own version of Jaikoz and I had no such problems with file renaming when i ran Correct Filename from Metadata, and then I noticed your Autocorrecter is not configured to rename files from metadata anyway so your songs would not be renamed when you run AutoCorrect in any case.

Then I looked at your logs and one of the first entries in the log is

Code:

i.e it seems these filenames were already corrupt before Jaikoz touched them

I then searched for references to the Annie Lennox file, as you can see the filename was already wrong and Jaikoz could not identify it.

Code:
Mar 7, 2016 8:57:26 PM: INFO: Unable to match song 1318 file Annie LennoxA Thousand Beautiful ThingsBare2003Pop01Annie Lenox - A Thousand Beautiful Things134319203-07.mp3 by artist "Annie Lennox" and with title "A Thousand Beautiful Things" to any releases

So Im sure this problem was caused by another application, but can easily be fixed by Jaikoz

If not already visible enable the Filename column in the main display.
Then run Action:File and Folder Correct:Correct Filename from Metadata that should fix your filenames to something sensible. The changes will take affect when you Save Changes
