When I select either File/Open Folder or click the ?Select Folder? button the application unexpectedly terminates without any error message

Details are SongKong 4.8 b1072 & build date 3/5/17 and Windows 10 1703 b15063.332

I haven?t tried the 32-bit

Please can you advise?

HI, the problem is due to a chnage in the latest version of windows, please see http://blog.jthink.net/2017/05/beware-of-god-mode-on-latest-windows-10.html

The quick workaround is to remove the God/Control folder.

A fix has now been made for Java, and this fix will be applied to the next version of SongKong within the next two weeks.

Oracle did the fix a while ago , but we are still waiting for them to actually release jdk 8u141 which they still haven't done unfortunately.
