I'm a newbie to Song Kong.

I read all the online infoguide to do the best job I could.
My music contains albums and tracks that are in playlist, I use those tracks to play with as a DJ. I'm planning to go with Roon tu run my music, but first thing first, I wanted to organize all my music.

I've put all the preferences that I tought would be a good way to go.

I was planning to move the files from my Hard drive to a new music file, that contains all the complete tags and another for the ones that or not completed.

Artist------Album------track-----artist----track#------title

Is there something in the presets I should do or not, for a good Roon integration.

I need to say that, English is not my mother language, so, sorry for the spelling.

I am assuming here you are saying all your songs are currently stored in one folder

For Roon to have much success your files need to be organized one folder = one album, and in the case of multi disc albums have another level below the album level for each disc. Just storing the album name in the filename is not good enough.

So you need to configure SongKong on first tab to

Renommer des fichiers basé sur les métadonnées to Oui

but this would probably breaks your playlist, so you need to consider this.

Its difficult to create album structure starting from a single folder structure (if that is what you have) so what you would need to do is

- Run Fix Songs
- Review and possibly moves a few songs around for the cases where you have songs that could be form multiple albums and it has chosen wrong album
- Run Fix Songs again
