Hi There,

It seems Jaikoz moves my files to a basefolder when I push the button (ctrl+s) save.
In summary view I can see where the files are saved.
When I alter some metadata and pushes a second time save Jaikoz can't apply the changes because it tried the original path.

Preferences/Save/General contains this path

What am I doing wrong?

Hi you can display your whole path in the main window by enabling BaseFolder, SubFolder and Filename fields. When you do save it should just save to the path specified by BaseFolder + SubFolder + Filename, and I expect it is.

So I think an earlier stage you are inadvertently asking Jaikzo to change the base folder ?

Please add the columns to the View and then give me more details about when and how they are changing.

Hi,

I thinks it has to do with a \\ unc path

The program once created for reasons unknown to me ( but I guess) it hadn't acces to the path) the following path.
C:\Users\guyf\Documents\qnap\Qmultimedia\MusicChecked (creation date 10 june 2016)
The path that Jaikoz should use is \\qnap\Qmultimedia\MusicChecked

I noticed that on 10 oct 2019 a C:\QNAP\Qmultimedia\Music-Jaikoz is created.

So i guess that whenever Jaikoz has trouble finding the \\ unc path it creates a path somewhere else.

Kind regards
Guy

Guy, ah UNC paths dont work (known issue) you need to mount remote paths to a remote drive.
