I wanna load all songs so I can run a dupe check. Can anyone recommend a recipe for accomplishing this task?

Why do I use iTunes you say? Because its database is like visa, accepted everywhere.

Use enough memory (about 6 to 8 GByte)
Use Jaikoz.bat and adjust the memory-part (see elsewhere here in the forum)
Load your 40k tracks (it takes a long long time to load all the tracks)

(I loaded about 100k tracks at once and it took about 12 hours or more to load)

using Jaikoz 9.3.0 NGS

iTunes has a pretty good dupe check feature that you could use.

If you use a Mac, you might want to look at
