Hi there.

I'm having problems installing Jaikoz on my Fedora box (core 5).
I have downloaded the .bin file and when I execute it get this:

Unable to locate the application's 'main' class. The class 'com.zerog.ia.installer.Main' must be public and have a 'public static void main(String[])' method. (LAX)

I have read the "Install Jaikoz on Linux", and I have the correct version of Java.
Do I need something more? LAX? or is there something wrong in the installation package?

Cheers

Hi again,

Solved my problem!
My linux box was using a GCC version of java, so I downloaded a java jre 1.5 (5.0) instead.

And then the installation works.

Great success!

Hi, the latest version of Jaikoz requires Java 1.6 on Linux. The key point is whether you are using Suns version which is ok, or another version which is not.

thanks Paul (Administrator)
