Replacing [Live] with (Live)  XML

Hi,
i'm new with Jaikoz and just purchased the pro license.

My problem is, i can't replace square brackets [] with parenthesis () if they contain a word that isn't surrounded by blanks.

Let me explain this a bit: If there are no blank(s) after the "[" and no blanks before the "]" there is no translation of the respecting bracket.

Examples:
"[ Live ]" translates well to "( Live )" but "[Live]" doesn't translate to "(Live)" without the blanks.
"[abc]" doesn't translate to "(abc)".
"[]" doesn't translate to "()".

In word replacer i made two entries [->( and ]->).
I try to execute this with Action/Local Correct/Correct Titles for example but without success.

What am i doing wrong?
Thanks for your help!

You've got to quote them, that is, enclosing them in single quotes so that they lose their special meaning.

Replace ] for ']', then.

Hello Enricus,

thanks for your answer, but unfortunately that doesn't work either.

Would the developer of Jaikoz, Paul Taylor, please clarify this?
