Hi Paul.

You wrote> But this would be useful anyway, for example in case you had a powercut in the middle of doing a big autocorrect. How would you want it to work, save after doing every task - this sould slow things down. Some tasks such as Local Artist Correct work on all the tracks at the same time, so you cant save changes until the task has completed - then you can save for all changed files. Whereas some tasks like AutoCorrect From MusicBranz work one file at a time, so you could do a save as the file track is matched, this is how the save option works for Retrieve Acoustic Ids

Since you know best what is possible to implement, I suggest you do what is the best.

You could do a save after each atomic operation, or if that will cause to much overhead, maybe after each 100 atomic operations.

I would probaply have a different thread doing the saving of processed items in background, but like I said, you know best how to do it here.

however you do it, we would love it!

Here is a quickwin:

Add an autosave option for use with batch operations.

This way it's not so bad if the application is not able to process a long batch without crashing, because I can continue where it left off.

Hope you can add this feature, you can always disable it by default and hide it in the preferences.

Oh boy, I just realized that the Jaikoz logo is a BUG ;-)
Oké, I just discovered this other post about memory problems.

I only have one .mp4 file, but since it happened when correcting album art, I don't know if this is the problem.

But I think it's nice that all the work Jaikoz did before the error occured, are saved anyway. I mean the fingerprint ID's, they are all kept, after the application restart.

I'm willing to provide more information, just ask.

I just purchased Jaikoz, and give it a test run.

I changed the default auto correct task to include fingerprinting, online tagging and artwork correction and an additional "save".

Then I loaded my default folder that includes my 11.000 Mp3's and started this auto correcting batch task.

After many hours, this message appeared:

Which setting should I change to prevent this in the future?

Thanks for your quick response.

You haven't received anything, yes, I thought so.

That's why I suggest you check with your provider that messages from GMail users are not blocked or marked as spam.

Because this is not the first time, as I have seen in recent forum posts.

Anyway, thanks and keep up the good work!

I have send 3 messages over the past weeks to support@jthink.net,
but I don't get any response.

And my last message was to inform you about my recent payment, could you please send me my registration file?

Thanks anyway.

Yours sincerely,

René Vaessen.
