The album artists existed already when I bought the files from iTunes.

When I change the album artist field in iTunes it gets displayed correctly then in Jaikoz.

Changing it in Jaikoz to another value also makes it display correctly now both in iTunes and Jaikoz.
All album artists of my iTunes m4a/m4p files display correct in iTunes (and in Helium), but display as numbers in Jaikoz. And this seems to be the only field that is not displayed ok.

Ok, so these values already existed (not entered by Jaikoz) are these files bought using iTunes, was the album artist already exist when bought from iTunes or did you add it using Helium ?
The album artist tag in all my iTunes files (m4a and m4p) are displayed as numbers only:

17773/28001/28277/25964/27749/8264/25027/-20627/11296/18785/28192/17007/29556/29289/25703/25900/8268/25888/17263/28259/25970/29728/25639/16755/29810/-15447/25888/9760/21365/29537/28192/18290/24936/24941

(that should read: Emmanuelle Haïm, Ian Bostridge, Le Concert d'Astrée & Susan Graham).

Running 2.8.3 on Windows.
I have a 20.000 files collection stored on a Linux server and use Jaikoz 2.8.1 on Vista 64 (via Samba on Linux) to edit it. Recently, I started some major updates which sometimes involve a couple of thousand edits in several chunks.

Sometimes while editing or while saving the edits, the network interface on Vista goes dead, i.e. no packets are being forwarded. Disabling and enabling the interface makes it work again. I'm at Vista SP1 with all available patches applied.

I'm not absolutely sure, but I can't recall having seen that before Jaikoz 2.8.

My questions:
a) Is this something that can be related to Jaikoz?
b) What trace information might be useful should I run into the same situation again?
I foster this. Currently, I run Jaikoz in a firewalled environment and I have to allow some strange connections. So I would love to see proxy support in Jaikoz.

BTW: Whenever I use "Update tags from existing MusicBrainz ID" I see an outgoing http connection to either 195.10.34.73 or .79 - reverse resolution doesn't give me clue to what this connection is going to (rsvd-akamaiint-73.34.10.195.in-addr.arpa). The address seems not to be some of the MusicBrainz servers. Is Jaikoz calling home?
