I can confirm this.

Thank you!

2. Secondly Discogs returning 403 errors for valid querys such as lookup release or search release. They have said that it can return 403 if busy, this is very bad form and I'm not even sure if it is true so I have to decide whether to retry the query if we get a 403 or just give up as we currently do, I'm worried if we retry 403s it may just slow everything down and still not work.

If that's the case most of the annoyance could be solved by simply returning the user an error and not caching the result, so he can just retry and get the results. I would really appreciate something like this in the next release, since in the current state Jaikoz is unusable.

I wanna also mention that using the APIs from Safari to get the same release info doesn't lead to any errors (tested at the same time I had problems with Jaikoz) so there might be something else that doesn't work
Is there any possibilities of getting a prerelease with this fix? Since Discogs is my main source for tags, in this situation I can't use Jaikoz much at all.
Email sent to support. Thanks!
Update: I emptied the cache and it worked for the listed releases, but not for Chet Faker - Live Sessions. No idea what to do.
I stand corrected, the "Match Songs to one Discogs Release" worked only one time (for Chet Faker - Thinking in Textures, NOT for Efdemin - Decay and Flume & Chet Faker - Lockjaw EP) and "Match Songs to Specified Discogs Release" failed all the time.
"Unable to find a suitable release for the selected songs", even if I put the discogs release number myself. But today it seems to work. Probably a temporary problem on discogs side?
Hi,

I was tagging Paul Woolford - Black Orchid using the Match Songs to One Discogs Release feature, but it returns me the error message in the subject. I tried the feature in every other file I needed to tag but noone works.

Any ideas?
I analysed how Traktor works more closely and it doesn't read the Grouping tag as Label. My bad. I incorrectly assumed that because of the behaviour of my previous tagger, iBatch for iTunes, which used to save Label information in both its tag and in Grouping

Thanks anyway!
Very easy fix, thanks! Regarding also my other question, is there any possibility of a permanent fix with the options outline above?

Maybe a general solution to both problems would be to have the possibility to have an action that can copy contents of different tags or a simple scripting language that can do that. I understand that building something like this might not be worth the effort.
Ah, too bad. Hopefully they will fix more issues in the meantime. Thanks Paul!
Hi,

It's common practice for DJs to put the Label name in the Grouping tag. Traktor even calls the 'Grouping' tag 'Label'. Label information is very important for DJs as labels often have a quite consistent style, and being able to save it in the Grouping label would fix my Label workflow for Traktor.

Is it possible to tell Jaikoz to save Label information in the Grouping tag? If not, it would be extremely helpful to have Jaikoz fix this as well.

Thanks!
Hi,

thanks for the amazing program that is Jaikoz, it's really helping me fix my huge library. As a DJ though, I often rely on correct genre information and I was sad to see that Jaikoz doesn't save multiple genres in a format that is compatible with iTunes and Traktor. This means that I can only rely on the first genre to search my music, especially in those two programs.

As a temporary fix, is there any other software on the Mac that supports multiple genres in the way Jaikoz does?

But most importantly, I would really really like to have an option that flattens out all the genres as comma/semicolon separated text for full iTunes & Traktor search ability.

Thanks!
Hi,

I'm enjoying tagging my music with Jaikoz, but sometimes it randomly crashes. It's very annoying because I lose every change since my last export, which last time was 1 hour ago.

This is the last crash log: http://pastebin.com/T943CsLG

Thanks!
