Yes I changed the Plex mask slightly to suit my own however it should still be putting the tracks in folders so if it matched a 2 disk vinyl it should have put them in folders Disk 01, Disk 02 etc however it hasnt :-/ Whats your thoughts?
I also have SongKong configured to add the disc numbers to the folder name so for example:

Richard Ashcroft >
The Best Of >
Disk 01
Disk 02
Another Album Title
Yet Another Album Title

In fact I just reran songkong on the latest version and its now being hit or miss with the folder structure when it moves matched files... some are coming out correct as shown above and some are coming out as the album was in the root folder where I put all my albums to be matched :-/

I wondered this but that album I used as an example was only ever released as a single disk :-/
The rename mask I am using looks correct in that it is doing:

Track number - Album Artist - Song Title .mp3

its to do with the matching thats the problem in that some albums it matches tracks with multiple track numbers :-/

Is there a decent log I can look at to see how it matched? a verbose log?
Hi,

No the track names are different but SongKong has named them both track 1, track 2 etc

01 - Richard Ashcroft - Everybody Needs Somebody to Hurt.mp3
01 - Richard Ashcroft - Out of My Body.mp3
02 - Richard Ashcroft - Picture of You.mp3
02 - Richard Ashcroft - This Is How It Feels.mp3

that's an example and follows this pattern to the end of the album :-/
On some albums when they are matched the song matching is correct however there will be multiple track 1s track 2s etc... I was thinking is this maybe because of various differences in different countries releases of an album? in any case whatever it is is there a way to stop it?

Thanks

Hi, Im curious to know if im doing something wrong as some new albums just wont match. I have checked Musicbrainz and there can be many releases for the same album however SongKong still wont match it. I have also made sure the track durations are the same and all were within 2 seconds of that on Musicbrainz.

I did try various settings with copies of the files and none still matched correctly. In general though SongKong has come a long way and 3.3 is definitely the best so far
Hi all,

So far im half and half loving SongKong. I have managed to create a renaming mask to what I need for single disc albums but not for multi ones. this is what I want:

Beastie Boys/Ill Communication/01 - Beastie Boys - Root Down.mp3
Albumartist/Album/Track - Artist - Title

for various artists or multi disk albums I want:

Various Artists/Now 1009 (Disk 01)/02 - Britney Spears - Slave for you.mp3
Albumartist/Album (discno)/Track - Artist - Title

This should be pretty easy but im getting very mixed results any chance someone can show me how the masks should be written to achieve these two configurations?

Thanks all
