Many thanks for your prompt reply Paul. So I'm wondering - is there any easy way to change the track names to the file names please?
Hi, I've been using Jaikoz for a while, to automatically correct metadata for some of my music. I've hit a very strange problem though - I ripped a music DVD, and the ripping program gave the tracks 'Chapter" rather than the actual song titles. I went through all 22 tracks on my Mac, and renamed them correctly. However, when I look at them on the uPnP browser app., the songs have reverted to their original filenames. Looking at the file properties on the Mac shows no sign of these old filenames.

When I load the album into Jaikoz this also only shows the original "Chapter" filenames, and searching for the album shows no results. I'm rather flummoxed by this; the original titles must be hiding somewhere in the metadata. But why don't the new, correct filenames show?

Also, a numpty question - how do I change the name of an album? I can only seem to edit one track at a time.
Sorry for not replying before. That fix worked perfectly, many thanks Paul.
Hi Paul, yes, I've got the info. and files for the Minimserver installation. I was hoping I could just stick with what Melco have done. Maybe I'll wait for their new software update - they're promising something "interesting".
OK, many thanks Paul. iTunes saving duly disabled!
Wow! Many thanks for such a speedy response Paul. I do know that Melco are coming up with a new software version soon, maybe that'll fix it. I'll try your file change first though. So how exactly do I change this file please?

Best wishes,

Tony.
Having used iTunes up until very recently, I've never paid much attention to tagging stuff. I just ripped CDs in iTunes, using AIFF files, and there they were. I've now migrated my music over to a Melco disk server, where I find I want to use WAV files (they sound better on my system), so I've been working my way through clumps of albums in Jaikoz, and resaving them back.

Although MusicBrainz finds the albums and seems to tag them with title and artwork OK, when I look at the WAV tracks on the Bubble uPnP App. I'm using to play them, much information appears to be missing.

I've had a look through the various menus in Jaikoz, most of which completely baffle me, but I can't work out what I'm supposed to do to fix this.

All help gratefully received, but please be gentle with me...
Support file sent Paul.
Hi Paul, it varies a bit, but often 500 or more. Your suggestion does sound likely, I'll try loading up smaller chunks.
Hi, I've just bought a copy of this program, and very good it is at tagging. However, after Jaikoz has done the tagging and I've saved the files , it then hangs. If I leave it for half an hour or so, it seems to clear itself & allows me to clear the files and load more. The more files I load initially, the longer it takes to recover itself.

Is there any answer for this please?
