Would it be possible to have an option to remove the Read only attribute if encountered
Yes, it does prompt you if you have unsaved files
I'm on Windows with ver 2.6.1
My drag and drop issues are on windows MusicIP to Jaikoz

It will drag and drop them, but if you do a large amount (Directory worth) at once it will seem to work, but when you actually start running auto correct, it seems to "loose" the path and gives errors when trying to update file

I can import the same folder just using Jaikoz, and process all files fine

I just gave up on drag and drop for now
Hey Martyn!
Glad to see you made it to Jaikoz

I have not tried using it's file naming feature

I use MUSICIP for for my file renaming and organization (After the tag work is done), It is the most capible program for doing that I have found
I use a pattern like this
T:\MP3\Artist\%@~abc\%@~a\%@~album\%@~a - %@~n

Add support for .OTS file format and you will get a flood of new users, there just simply no 3rd party tagging utilities, but it is an outstanding DJ program

here is more info

little endorsement plug I gave you
Currently the word replacer need a space before and after the word to replace

is their anyway to force it to also be a character replace (without a space before and after the character)

for example I want to replace the / in

Louis Armstrong/Jack Pleis

this would be skipped

but if it was
Louis Armstrong / Jack Pleis
it would be replaced

Maybe what we need is a character replacer tab that works similar to the word replacer

I am trying to implement OFC (Ots Filename Coding)
MusicIPFingerprint field to identify it, when MusicIP got together with MusicBrainz they implemented a new system that identified the track by a MusicIP Puid

Is this why files processed via MusicIP get reprocessed by Jaikoz?
I would think if a file was processed with MusicIP that Jaikoz would not need to reprocess it, now I think I know why it does

Is MusicIP is not generating or storing the MusicIP Puid tag?

It would be great if we could load files into Jaikoz using a .m3u file

I have a very large collection, and it is not practical to load the entire collection at once

I can use 3rd party utilities, such as MusicIP to find tags that need work, and create an .m3u file for import to into Jaikoz for processing

BTW, I posted a message on the MusicIP forums wishing for MIP integration with Jaikoz
Should you like to comment see

Update: I just noticed you can drag and drop files from MIP to Jaikoz, that is great and will works for me for now
