Jaikoz is written using Java 1.5, Java 1.5 is freely available for Windows,Linux and OSX 10.4 and many other operating systems. Jaikoz does not use any Java 1.6 features but requires Java 1.6 when running on Windows or Linux in order to resolve some bugs in Java 1.5 on these platforms.
