The current release is Jaikoz 8.2.4 which was released on June 29th 2015

By default Jaikoz comes with a free trial license which is valid for 30 days. The free version is disabled in the following ways

  • You can test out all the functions on as many files as you wish (except for Pro only features) but changes can only be saved to 20 files during one use of Jaikoz

After 30 days if you wish to continue using Jaikoz you need to purchase a license. It only costs £20 GBP (approx $33 USD) for a standard license and £30 (approx $49 USD) for a pro license and we accept payment using Paypal, this license will allow you free updates of Jaikoz for life.

Jaikoz has been tested with Mac OS X upto and including the latest Yosemite release, Windows 8, Windows 7, Vista and XP and Linux Ubuntu

Download Jaikoz

If you are a Windows customer using Internet Explorer be warned that Internet Explorer will rename .exe files removing the .exe, this means that if you double-click on the download the installation will not start. You have three options:

  • Use a better browser and download again, we recommend Firefox instead
  • Rename the file back to a .exe with Windows Explorer and then run
  • Download the zip version below and unzip and run the installer yourself

Install Jaikoz

Installation is easy. Just run the downloaded program and follow the onscreen instructions. If you need more information about installation there is more information in the links below.

Please note that the Windows version of Jaikoz now comes with Java included, the 32-bit version can be used on any version of Windows, the 64-bit version can only be used on the 64-bit versions of Windows 7 and Windows 8. This version of Jaikoz for OSX is for OSX 10.7.5 and later. Jaikoz for Linux comes without Java, this is usually already installed on Linux systems.

The Windows version of Jaikoz 8 onwards uses a new version of the IzPack installer software and unfortunately the installer doesn't allow you to install an application on top of an application installed with an older version of the installer. So if currently have a version of Jaikoz earlier than Jaikoz 8.0 installed you should delete C:/Program Files/Jthink/Jaikoz and then install into the default. This has no effect on your preferences or license because these are stored in your User folder.
